Book purchase – Drawing projects: an exploration of the language of drawing

I purchased “Drawing projects: an exploration of the language of drawing” (1) after reading Rebecca Fairley’s blog post about the book and I have not been disappointed. It reinforces everything I have read and have been learning about improving my drawing skills. 

What I most like about the book is the series of exercises which it details and it’s allegiance to mark-making. I just hope that I am able to find the time to work the exercises and put the ideas into practice. I think it will be a valuable addition to my repertoire and hopefully move me forward in expressive mark-making.
